When taco trucks are a dime a dozen you can afford to be picky, and I am. ETM is top of the “Aurora strip taco trucks” list for me (I haven’t been to them all by any means, so take that with a grain of salt). Still, that says something.
Why:
Authentic carnitas are spit roasted with that signature crispiness that I’ve been craving ever since my first real Mexican street taco. They are closer to that than the others.
Heated shed and covered seating. The space isn’t big, but in WA this is a big deal.
Excellent parking. They’ve got to be the envy of every taco truck owner. Lots of parking space, easy drive-up access, and you can wait in your car until your order’s ready and not be too far away to hear them when they call.
Obv. like most taco truck workers, they’re kind and provide excellent service. I have NEVER had a complaint.
First meal of our trip was at El Taco Maestro. It’s a food truck with a sheltered hut to sit in.
Service was quick and friendly. Despite the line of customers, our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. One of the few places where all their meats are the same price.
Pleased with the food at ETM. Would happily come back for more.
