*BEWARE TOXIC ENVIRONMENT*
Letting the community know that this daycare and owner Stephanie Smith are toxic to the employees of her business and overlooks not only state violations when reported but caters to those making the violations. My wife worked as a teacher for ECEAP and I took a job for custodian and we both had to quit because of the passive aggressive behavior of Kelly Alexander, Renee Spencer and Gidget Barbo. These three make issues out of everything and at the end of the day makes problems for people they don't like. Worst job experience ever! This is an unsafe environment for children too. Lack of supervision of employees and children create a dangerous environment. Here are just some examples. Jackson Alexander, Kelly Alexander's son, works there sometimes and is always coming there to see his mom. He has been suicidal for at least two years and is mentally unstable but the owner lets him be around your children. Hailey Alexander, Kelly Alexander's daughter, is a teacher's aid. She is rude to the kids, has inappropriate conversations with the kids, and is on her phone a lot while supervising kids. Renee Spencer, the so called cook for the kids, is required to do trainings like all employees. Her idea of doing theses trainings is to start them on her phone and then go to another room not even paying attention the training. I witnessed this twice. She also failed the states food handler course twice and if you know anything about this course, you know that it is a simple course that just requires a little amount of effort to pass. She is also a person who thinks she is in charge of everybody but is not an director and has no business telling anyone anything. Kelly Alexander, who is supposed to be the director, is in my opinion is incompetent. Talks in circles. Doesn't make any sense when confronting you. She makes problems for the employees and most likely parents too. She is definitely not director material. This is just a few examples. The state of Washington is being notified and I am also pursuing legal action against Learning to Grow and Kelly Alexander, Renee Spencer, Gidget Barbo for slander. Stephanie Smith claims her centers are safe and wholesome for kids. This is definitely debatable. I will post a contact number and name from the state so you can contact them for more information when available.
