Michael and Desiree of Emmick Family Funeral Home are worthy of the greatest praise and thanks for how they treated my deceased mother, and myself coordinating her burial. They were respectful, caring, compassionate and did a thorough job every step of the way. Communication was clear and timely.
Michael was great helping me to make the choices and decisions before me. He showed me the options again and again until I was comfortable with the choices I made.
Desiree shared with me at the closed casket burial that she had brushed my moms’ hair, dressed her, and that my mom looked beautiful in her outfit and jewelry. I could visualize the care she gave while doing that. It meant a lot to me. I get teary-eyed every time I think about it. My mom was in good hands. She also did a wonderful job polishing/editing the obituary and setting up the tribute page for their website.
