This gym continues to go downhill and it shows. Cleanliness and upkeep is something that this location needs to improve compared to other Equinox location. In the past 6 months or so a noticeable difference. Mats are broken, organization suffering, locker rooms are gross, days there are no towels, and there is always an issue with the parking terminals when exiting.
I've been to most of the other Equinox locations in Socal and have been a member for 8 years, this location suffers. Shouldn't be this way given the Equinox brand.
Can't wait for Life Time gyms to make it to LA and give Equinox some competition to improve their locations.
The new management at Equinox Woodland Hills is an absolute disaster, particularly the general manager who epitomizes rudeness and insincerity. My experience with this gym has been nothing short of a nightmare since the new management took over.
Firstly, the general manager's attitude is beyond appalling. She is consistently rude, dismissive, and seems to have no regard for member satisfaction. It's as if she enjoys making members feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Her fake smiles and insincere apologies only add insult to injury.
Due to the general manager's unprofessional behavior and the overall decline in customer service, I was left with no choice but to quit my membership. It's truly disappointing to see a once-great gym deteriorate under such incompetent management.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of Equinox Woodland Hills until they sort out their management issues. There are plenty of other gyms in the area that actually appreciate their members and provide a positive experience.
