The worker at this location, I believe his name was Brandon or Brian, is very rude. He called me the day my rental was due 20 minutes before the close of business to tell me I was late. I live 35 minutes away and could never had made it prior to close of business. I took the truck over and couldn't get the key into the drop box so I left the van. I called and left a message that I would return the key when they reopened. When I went back and returned the key the same guy that called me the day before was working. I was asking about the additional day charge and he told me the van was due at 11 am. I mentioned that they lady that I reserved it with hadn't mentioned an exact time on the 5th that it had to be returned and very rudely he stated "Well you signed the contract!" I had not signed it, I had my father in law pick it up so he saw and I didn't think to look. I asked him why he called 20 minutes prior to business closing vs calling me prior to the vehicle being late and he told me they only call once the vehicle is late. I feel this is terrible customer service. After he handed me my receipt he walked out the front door and put the key in the drop box to prove it would go in. That in it's self was rude, what was the point in proving me wrong. Then as I'm exiting the building he rudely remarked "Well I got the key in there!" What was the point of this??? Taking an hour and a half out of my work day to make a second trip was not something I wanted to do. If I could have gotten the key in the box I would have saved myself the second trip. I will never use this location again and I don't know that I will use u-haul again. There was no reason to prove me wrong with the key and then make a snide remark.

We usually have good experience with Lacey Express Uhaul. Today we had a reservation for 10:15. We arrived promptly at 10:15 to be told the truck we had reserved was supposed to be returned at 10 but wasn’t back. When customer was called, he was “looking for a gas station “. If someone has a reservation at 10:15 and the truck isn’t returned why would you not call to see why before we waste our time & gas? Not happy.
