Rooms are not bad for the price, service is friendly, and you do get a free breakfast.
However do not disturb signs mean nothing to staff. When I got back to my room I found that sanitation had come and thrown out leftovers that I had intended to finish. They had only sat for the one day, and it was nothing with any pungent or strong odours/aromas that could bother the other occupants. It had only been sitting for the one day, and it was nothing with a potent or pungent odor/aroma. So it is not as though someone had complained to the office and asked for an exception to the rule. This would make it appear as though, it is common practice for them to enter the rooms while you are renting them regardless of whether or not you’re asking for sanitation
DO NOT STAY HERE! We were there for ONE NIGHT! First and foremost they checked us into a room that was already occupied so upon entry to the room we walked into a naked elderly couple who slammed the door on my face….so back to the front desk we went where the receptionist called the manager. After 45 minutes we finally got into a room.
Fast forward to a few days later upon checking our credit card and noticed a $40 charge. Called the hotel and they said it was for damaged towels. DAMAGED TOWELS? We didn’t even use the towels! We dropped off stuff in the room and went and explored Seattle til 2am and when we came back and there was NO PARKING! We had to park in a no park zone and the receptionist at that time was rude about that as well. I asked her if we would be towed and the response was “I wouldn’t let u park there if u we’re going to get towed.”
We went to bed, woke up and left….didn't even use towels! Oh and that was before the housekeeping banged on our door 15 minutes before check out time to get us out of the room.
Anyway, the person I spoke to on the phone claimed to be manager and said there was nothing they could do since we damaged towels. I asked if we could speak to someone else, manager, owner etc he flat out said no there’s nothing they can do. I told him I wanted the towels since they claimed we damaged and we had to pay for them and he said they threw them away. I asked who the gentleman was that checked us in so he can confirm our story of our check in nightmare and he refused to tell me and also told me he knew nothing of the situation even though I stood there and watched the receptionist call and talk to the “manager!”
My boyfriend called back to try to talk to the “manager” and he repeatedly hung up on him.
How do you charge someone for damaged towels when they weren’t used and how do u not have proof of said damaged towels for situations like this?
We are two respectable adults who travel the world and never ever would damage property! That charge is a flat out SCAM!
Do not stay here!
