It was so exciting seeing all the wonderful toys from the years before. I do have my own toy collection from the 80s.
I'm not even sure what to say about this. Free? Yes! McDonald's memorabilia? Yes! Museum? Not exactly.
After visiting the first still operating McDonalds (which is totally worth the visit) this was on our list of places to visit. Hoped to find more of the story of McDonald's here.
Lots and lots of Happy Meal toys with other memorabilia sprinkled in. However it seemed like a hodge podge of stuff thrown in glass cases in a dilapidated building that was never even a McDonald's. Our family loves museums and nostalgia but it's difficult to learn anything from this history without context. Definitely a lot of little memories of things I had as a kid but sadly the whole place didn't convey a story for future generations like a proper museum should.
Truly wish this place luck since they have so many items to display and a bit of organization and storytelling could go a long way.
