On this day. I went to pick up food for myself and three others. A friend had come up from Portland. I told them I had a place that served fish, and these dishes were very nice. The serving staff knows me by name, and if I call in, they are always on point with serving the customer. I've been coming here for a long time, and I can't praise them enough for the service they are doing in the communities and state-wide.

The food is great. But the service is blah. Seems like no one is happy to be there and they're dismissive when ordering. Hardly have smiles or conversation. I myself work in customer service/food service and this establishment is very different. Again the food is great. But attitude and friendly-ness would be appreciated. Also I think they should stay open longer. They'd definitely get more money from me🤣

I have been going here for decades and every single meal has been nothing less than perfection. The atmosphere, people, and food is something that you can't get anywhere else. My favorites are the catfish and banana pudding.
This business should be marked as a protected historical landmark of Tacoma.
