Second time coming out here. First time was ok thought we'd give it another shot. The location is great. The wasp nest inside my firepit was not great. My family and I were by the office area Sunday evening. A lady that I assume works there in a white suv came pulling up very fast hit a bush and parked in the mulch. Jumps out all fast and fumbling with what I would think was her uniform and its almost 7pm on Sunday starts screaming at my family and I to put our dogs on a leash. My dogs are trained there was no one else out there and it was unnecessary. The lady also yelled at my neighbors for having their dogs on more than a 6ft lead. This lady smelt like alcohol also and was driving. After that she drove off site. I've won't be going back after that. For the price i paid for an rv spot staff shouldn't be running around after hours doing whatever they want bossing people around.

We’ve been coming here since they opened up. The location is the best! The views are amazing! But there is absolutely ZERO amenities! They been talking about putting a pool since they opened and still nothing! Hot tub? Playground? Splash pad? Anything?! For the price you would think they would have something!? We love it and the location is perfect but there needs to be more amenities for the price you are paying for. Buellton flying flags offers Sooo much more! Also the sites itself have gotten more eroded and uneven. They need to level out the sites so that’s you don’t need to add leveling blocks or adjust with your leveling points as much.

I loved our time at Flying Flags Avila. The sites were so well thought out, properly maintained, and comfortable. The town of Avila was so quaint and I can’t wait to visit again. Great food, sights, and the dog beach made our pups super happy.
