I was very happy to see a yarn store in the neighborhood, but unfortunately I have had some not good customer service experiences. I had one lady that was really great and super helpful, but last night the lady was very RUDE! As soon as I walked in she confronted me aggressively "Can I help you!" I felt unwelcome and as if I shouldn't have come it. I just wanted to browse for some colors for a future project. I found some yarns that I liked and started to check out, I asked if she could ball them for me and she said no, that I could come back tomorrow. It was really surprising she couldn't spend literally 5 minutes to ball them for me now. I told her that I could come back and buy them tomorrow too. I decided I can find yarn elsewhere. I'm sure a store in Portland will be happy to ball my yarn even if it is closing time.

Just spent an hour or so browsing the beautiful yarn selection! Kirbie was very helpful in finding the right yarn to match yarn purchased from the shop years ago. She had great fiber recommendations for a project and I am very happy with what I got. Lisa wound my purchased skeins into balls for easier use. I'll be back as soon as I finish my current projects!

I have no words that will be enough for this wonderful yarn store. They have an incredible selection of all weights, fibers, colors, needles (at least 3 brands of interchangeable circulars), hooks, patterns, and a REALLY hearty selection of books. I went in for my first time last week to have some yarn wound from a different yarn manufacturer. They charge a penny a yard, and I’m more than happy to pay that as an extra charge since it wasn’t exclusively from their store. They are all very nice and eager to help. During my first visit, I found some yarn that I really loved but decided to wait. Fast forward to today and I just HAD to have it. They will wind the yarn you buy from them at no charge, they only charge for yarn outside of their store. I’m elated to have found such a great place to go for my obsession. Keep in mind, they are much more knit centric than crochet, but don’t let that stop you from visiting! This place is amazing! My new favorite happy place!!!
