This was a nice side excursion on our trip. Extremely interesting history. I never learned about this in my high school history. I wish it could have been part of my school curriculum.

This park is extremely small they could definitely use some more entertainment for children. It's not too safe for young children so I advise as a mother myself to take children probably 3 and up. It is the only park with substantial shade. And there is a tennis court and some other stuff I like the fact that there is picnic tables and places to have a picnic. Other than that the only reason I'm giving three stars is the lack of entertainment for toddlers.
