I was craving a banh mi for lunch and stumbled upon this place when my other place ran out of sandwiches. I came around 2 pm and there were a few people sitting. It has a lot of space with outdoor seating too. I saw they served bowls also and ended up getting a salad bowl with the lemongrass pork.
The bowl was actually a LOT bigger than I expected. I couldn't even finish it! I didn't really love the pork though. It wasn't that flavorful and was pretty chewy. However, the portions were pretty big; almost half the bowl was meat. The veggies tasted good with the vinaigrette/fish sauce. I really liked the pickled veggies, and that they gave so much. The veggies looked good and tasted pretty fresh.
The bowl was pretty pricey, about $12. While this is more than most lunch places, they did give a lot of meat and veggies. They really stuffed the bowl and gave 2 sauces with it too. I would come back for the salad bowl since not too many people have this kind of option. However, I would probably not come for their sandwiches since they are expensive.
