Was reminded today why I stopped going to GameStop to buy games went in for a ps4 game and the person there very annoyingly spent 5 minutes trying to get me to buy a ps5 and telling me how I could trade in my ps4 and what not even tho I said no thank you every time they paused expecting me to say yes then continued on pushing the point after this was over they then tried to harass me into renewing my pro membership that lapsed years ago I declined explaining I rarely come in there and the reply was to tell me about all the benefits of the membership to which I politely declined again only to be told I could trade in games to pay for my membership renewal like money was why I didn’t want to do it absolutely no customer service skills or listening skills just trying to make sales and get commission above all else I will definitely go back to buying games online again so I can avoid this and so should everyone else I’m pretty sure they’ll be out of business in a few years anyway seeing as how I was literally the only person in the store

Horrible service from the moment I walked into the store the girl at the register was on the phone talking bad about a former employee and took no interest in who was in the store and if they needed help. I asked about the signs they have posted about a summer sale and what games were on it and the girl said there’s a list but she can’t find it then while we were still standing at the register she got back on the phone and continued to rant. Customers don’t need or want to hear that stuff. Very unprofessional and I had e few games I wanted but decided to just put them back and leave.
