I got excited with this GameStop location opening here.. except they've been closed during store hours the last 3 times I tried to go in. I give up and we don't plan to try again.
Either hire more employees or offer better pay to keep staff there.

I can't begin to express how wonderful my experience was at this GameStop. To give context, I had been searching for a collectors item for a friend's birthday. I had missed the pre-order window and was sold out everywhere. I woke up at 3am release day, took the bus for an hour, and waited until the Walmart nearest to me opened. They didn't have it. Waited another hour for Target to open and took another bus ride over. They didn't have it either. At the end of my rope, I shuffled my way to this GameStop. Waiting until they opened their doors. Once inside, I asked if there were any copies of the items left, but the clerk at the store, Alberto, informed me that they had be sent very little stock (only 4 copies) and that they were all already accounted for. But upon seeing me let out a defeated sigh, our Hero Alberto informed me that another GameStop, one in Bothell, still had 2 copies up for grabs! Elated, I thanked our Hero and headed out the store, calling the Bothell GameStop to see if I could secure the order before I made the hour long bus ride there. Unfortunately, the kind clerk, Leon, answered the phone and informed me that they had just sold off the last of their stock. It saved me the trip so I was grateful, but it was hard to hide my defeated disposition. That was it then. Every store I had checked had told me that stock was either severely limited to people that had already pre-ordered, or that they didn't have any stock to begin with. Hours of searching and nothing to show for it. I guess I'll have to head home empty handed. I head back into the GameStop and let Alberto know the news. We chat a bit more briefly and lament on how hard it can be to find these collector items. But this is the point of the story where Alberto proves to be beyond the Hero we thought him to be, and shows us all why he is HIM. After telling him I guess I'll try some other stores and see if my luck holds out, he looks me dead in the eyes and says "Hey bro, one of the pre-orders we had here was mine, but you can have it. You seem like a nice guy." I was in shock. His words parted the silence in the air like Moses splitting the Red Sea. I try to stutter out the words "N-no, you don't have to do that-", but this chiseled Adonis, this abosulte Chieftain, calmy raised his hand and said it was okay. He quickly and efficiently canceled his pre-order and completed the sale for me. The entire time I felt like I was in a trance. I genuinely didnt know how to process such a kind and selfless gesture this Legend was demonstrating for my benefit when we were strangers that had just met. I asked him if there was anything I could do to make up for him doing me such a huge favor, and he calmly smiled and said to just leave a fair review for the store. What an absolute class act. I will absolutely leave a review and I hope I showed you all why I rated 5 stars. The Gamestop itself was very well kept, with sections properly organized and everything being very clean and tidy. I highly recommend buying from here if you are looking to get games at a great price. And you can't beat the customer service. Alberto has single handed improved my outlook on GameStop and I will be making sure to buy all my physical games from here just so I have a chance to thank him again. Thank you for reading and thank you once again Alberto.

Been here a few times recently with my kids to get Pokemon cards. All the staff have been so nice & "kid friendly." It's always nice to have people acknowledge & interact with your kids in a positive way. Deff makes shopping less stressful when you have a rambunctious &] noisy toddler with you who you worry will be a nuisance in a small shop 😆
