I've been working with Gabe over 2 and a half years now at this location. I can confidently say that his services have made positive and significant impacts to my life.
I first came to him to begin strength training as a means to supplement my JiuJitsu training. JiuJitsu left my body broken and weak so I needed his expertise to keep my body feeling fresh and strong. In addition, my day job for the past 10 years has required to be in front of a computer for 9+ hours a day so I had a lot of the issues that come with that such as tight hip flexors, rolled shoulders, etc.
The training programs he's set up for me over these past years have addressed all these issues and I'm now in the best shape in my life. I cannot recommend Gabe enough, his knowledge and communication is out of this world. The only complaint I have is that he hasn't discovered how to clone himself so he can train more people who have awful trainers.

If I could give Gabe a 10 stars I would. My experience with Gabe/GCALFitness has been absolutely amazing. I came to Gabe after traveling Europe on summer vacation, about 20 pounds heavier than I was when I left. I was very discouraged in starting my fitness journey, but Gabe helped me stay motivated. There were MANY times where I wanted to give up, but he reminded me why I started. Not only is Gabe a great trainer, he's also an amazing friend to have. He makes it his goal to help you reach YOUR goals. He's not just taking your money and making you do a few squats, pushups, jumping jacks, etc. NO! He tailors EVERY session to fit your body and your goals. Gabe makes you use muscles you never knew were there! What the hell!! After a few months of training, I was able to lose the extra weight I gained AND even looked BETTER than I did before traveling. If he could do this for free, he would! Definitely give him a try, you WILL NOT regret it.

Look no further because Gabe is THE best personal trainer out there! There aren't enough words to say how great he is. Gabe is very professional and knowledgeable in everything fitness, mind, and health. He is personable, reliable, communicable, and optimistic. I've been working out most of my life but I never fully understood the exercises until Gabe came along. He doesn't just put you through a workout and call it a day, he will actually explain every movement in detail so that you understand what it's purpose is and also what good and bad form looks like. He's very conscious about your form to prevent injuries. I've been working out with him twice a week and I've noticed major changes in my body. I'm 5'4 weighing about 125lbs and I feel like I'm the strongest I've ever been! I can actually see back muscles. My goal with Gabe is just to maintain my health and tone up my body. I'm starting to see more definition in my stomach, which has always been a struggle for me. Since working out with Gabe I've realized that its better to do the exercises slow & controlled rather than just cranking them out. If you're not doing them 100% then you won't see progress. Even my basic plank is so much better. I HIGHLY recommend Gabe!!!! Thanks to him I'm in the best shape ever and I feel more comfortable in the gym.
