This place was nice. I stayed here for work and the WiFi was decent and the big lobby with plenty of tables and chairs was great for late night work with my team. The elevator by my room went out a couple nights into my stay, so that was annoying, but not a big deal. Also, the bar closes promptly at 10pm which is a bit of a bummer when you really want a cocktail after a long day of working late. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly!

I've stayed here a few times work work. I've dined at the bar once, and the experience was good. Typical "HGI" fare. The front desk staff could use some work. Upon arrival at my most recent visit (9/19/24), I checked in on the app, but my digital key had not been delivered. I stopped at the front desk where one employee was helping another guest, and two others were just chit chatting. They looked at me standing there, didn't bother to acknowledge me (e.g., we'll be right with you, etc.), yet continued to carry on with their conversation. By the time one of them finally decided to assist me, the digital key finally made it to my phone, and I just walked to elevators. The front desk there has always been a bit dry, so I wasn't totally surprised. Otherwise, the rooms are decent.

Positive: The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing and accommodating. We showed up a little early prior to check in. Hotel employee is a great representation of the Hilton brand. We were there for a college soccer showcase. Great job Hilton Gardens Palo Alto. Negative: ""
