Vitaliy did an excellent job today in the service he provided. He asked about the problem, did some testing, and proceeded with the dishwasher repair.
He informed us that the repair issue was a consequence of the dishwasher not being properly installed. Apparently, it is an installation problem unique to Samsung dishwashers.
To prevent the issue from happening again, I contacted the store where we purchased the dishwasher and requested a reinstall to correct the problem.
Vitaliy drew a diagram that indicated the correct installation for the dishwasher; offered a tip on how to make sure the water is drained from the dishwasher if a cycle is interrupted; and answered all of my questions.
Vitaliy was professional and kind--HNG should take great pride in how he represents the company.
We understand that the work/parts replaced today have a 90 day warranty. At this point in time, we do not plan to use the dishwasher until it is reinstalled correctly as per the arrangements I am making with the initial installers. After the reinstall, we will immediately test the dishwasher. While we expect it to work based on the testing, Vitaliy made sure we knew to contact HNG Appliances in the event it does not.
