This is a wonderful church for those who are looking to find their way home to God's promises and salvation through Bible study, devotion, reflection and repentance, while surrounded by members from all over the plant who have been saved. Hopewell Baptist Church is large enough to accommodate the current in-person congregation while not being so large that the feeling of community is lost. Members and visitors can also attend online. Hopewell Baptist Church works at both the local level and through worldwide missions.

I give Hopewell Alameda 5 stars, because.... I came to this Church to try it out (it is hard to find a place where one belongs). I stayed with this Church after just 1 visit because I can feel the genuine devotion for Jesus Christ. The sermons Pastor Mike preaches stick with me on a deep level. This Church is the reason I am wanting to change my life for the Lord. I enjoy the Fellowship with Pastor Mike, his wife Joni and all the Members that come weekly to worship. Highly recommended.
