I need to start by saying the staff was lovely and nice and accommodating. The Hotel itself was really cool and well redone. That said, we had the worst nights sleep of my life and would probably not stay here again. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main historic area and in full transparency I read in the description that it was old and sound carries. I fully expected to hear some people in the lobby or maybe some steps. I didn't expect it to sound like a bowling alley was on the top floor. I didn't expect it to sound like they parked a running garbage truck outside our window all night, paired with sounding like an airplane taking off every hour or so. It was so impossible to sleep, at 1:30AM we considered just leaving and driving the 1.5hrs back home. It was terrible - be warned. These rooms go for upwards of $450 a night!

Stunning hotel in a fantastic location close to downtown and the beach! I stayed there for an event and definitely will return. The rooms are luxurious, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The outdoor spaces are equally cozy and beautiful. There are fascinating, historical touches throughout the hotel. Staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I very highly recommend a stay there!
