Hotel Solares

Straightforward hotel offering casual quarters & an outdoor pool, plus BBQ & picnic areas.

I stayed here July 27 2024 for the weekend and loved it! The rooms are big and the employee were polite!! The boardwalk is 7 minutes distance and honestly a nice walk.They had a pool and jacuzzi. And breakfast included ;)

The staff was very polite and helpful. Anna was helpful at the counter. Room was great, clean and we loved the pool and 2 hot tubs, towels were available at front counter. We had a nice balcony (2). We did not try the breakfast.

After paying for a two week stay and being at Hotel Solares for a full day, I was imposed with additional fees/charges and treated less favorably than other guests when Hotel Solares implemented undisclosed fees specifically due to the presence of my service animal(s). I was compliant with the hotel's policies which stated SERVICE ANIMALS ARE EXEMPT! Hotel Solares utilized police intervention as a means to enforce discriminatory practices then threatened me with 90 minutes to leave the property or face trespassing charges. I initially paid for a two week stay. I have legal protection under disability rights legislation which preventative measures and education on the responsibilities of businesses towards service animals are encouraged under state law. It was unlawful practice as I am ensured equal access so they can expect to hear from the State of California regarding this!
