We phoned to check on some silver cleaner. The clerk put us on hold while she checked if they had it and the price. They held it behind the counter until we arrived. It wasn't quite what my wife wanted so we didn't buy. The staff were all very pleasant through this whole process. We'll be back after the great treatment that we received.

So hubby brought me to get a new bottle of perfume as I finished my favorite. I was hoping to find something new. The lady that helped us was nice at first. I was trying to explain I don't like floral scents. She was enthusiastic about showing me newer perfumes, I tried explaining my previous favorite scents, but I don't think she was listening. Now I understand it's close to Christmas and I am not the only customer. But she would come back and I'd try to explain more what notes I preferred and after a few sniff tests, I apologized and said I didn't think I was ready to step outside of my scent comfort zone. So I requested my usual Chanel perfume, and hubby went for the big 6.8 oz bottle. Last time the purchase was wonderful, got the little Chanel gift bag with a few samples.... This time even after spending almost $400 on a bottle of perfume, it was stuck in a plastic bag, no samples given and I felt like I was being punished for not getting a newer line that she was trying to push.

The HBC at the mall is not cliche in any way. Think of a higher end Department Store where the staff actually care. And when I say care I mean they take the time to make the sale they give you samples they give you sniff tests they give you their attention. It's rare to find a business that has such high standards of customer service but I recommend HBC if you need to do clothing shopping jewelry shopping and in my case Prada fragrances. I went with the Cobalt over the sport as the sport is more musky but the Cobalt smells like a warm hug from a beautiful woman but giving you the same confidence of being a strong and confident man.
