Ike's is the best sandwich shop ever.
That's the only thing you really need to know. It's one of those rare places that's worth the hype.
My favorites here are Hollywood's SF cheesesteak (Mushrooms, provolone, thinly sliced rib eye) and the Hot Mumma Huda (Buffalo wing sauce, halal chicken, provolone, ranch), but there are really a ton of others that are just phenomenal sandwich creations. They take great care in making the sandwiches, even as fast as they make them, and I've never been disappointed after multiple visits.

Had to go past a ton of homeless and drug users in order to get to this sandwich shop. The smell of urine and dodging tons of poop stains already put a damper on my appetite.
Ordered the #126 Mark Appel and it only had 2 pieces of chicken in the sandwich. Definitely too pricey for what it is. The only redeeming factor was that I had it to go and the sandwich was made so tight that nothing leaked. That is a plus. Other than that, I wish it was bigger and had more meat.
This place also didn't take mobile payments. Other than that, at least the people there were nice.
The people were great, the sandwich was very fresh, but there was no meat for the 15.00+ that I paid. I feel as though I got robbed.
