Since the panels were installed on my roof in June 2022 This system is still not operational due to our electrical box upgrade which should have been completed at time of install. As of 10/4/22 they have rescheduled twice and are blaming city inspectors not being available or overbooked. This was not true upon me contacting city planning inspectors. I was told they never contacted the city for a 2nd install date of 10/5 which they gave me. Another inspection / completion date was given for early November which was also cancelled again told inspectors were not available. After writing a complaint to the BBB I was contacted by Infinity and given a new appointment date which they did keep.
Updated 12/13/22 On December 1st we received an invoice from SunNova with a due date of 12/5. Far less than federal required 21 days to payment due notice. Billing wasn't supposed to start until after all inspections and approval by SCE & city building and safety before allowed to go live. Somehow one of their install techs did turn this system on in November again before final inspection as I was informed of by SCE.
As of 12/ 8 our system is finally past all Inspections, completed and connected to the SCE power grid.
Hopefully our personal experience dealing with SunNova/ Infinity is not something that happens to others. I have also made 3 calls, spoken to customer service and asked for a finance manager to return my call regarding their billing practices. I still have not received a call back from anyone at SunNova to date. I don't have any problem in paying the bill but again contacted the BBB regarding their billing practices and no call back or email since those documented calls and inform this system was activated before those final Inspections. I would not personally recommend SunNova or Infinity to anyone!
I rarely leave bad reviews and prefer to leave good reviews and recommend businesses that provide great services and products.
