Hello to Everyone out there!!! Please don't have your child go to Kids Connection. I witnessed my self that a ABA Therapist treated a 11 year old boy, who has autism and non verbal, like an animal. He had that kid swing covered for like 40min. The child had brought his head out of the covered swing a few times but the Therapist pushed his head back in the covered swing and had him swing. The poor kid was soo dizzy and could not talk nor defend him self. I yelled at the Therapist and told him to stop that hehe child is not an animal. Please choose another ABA or OT Therapy for your child and not kids connection defend him self.
Been affiliated with the center since about 2017/18 to current. Well, in the beginning it was great. Dr. Cynthia Conway was great with my children. I felt maybe she wanted quicker progress and I could see some frustration on her face and her tone of voice at times. It seems like a student training center. Then, Covid happened everything stopped. There was no communication from the center with me regarding my kids therapy or if it would be by zoom. One 1 of my kiddos was having OT by zoom and my other his Auth expired and we had to do everything all over like a new client-but, since no one has called me about any type of OT sessions for my kiddo!!! And then it was relayed to us that Dr.Cynthia Conway will not be seeing any children anymore. Knowing that it’s difficult for my kiddo to build that trust with someone new is a lot and sometimes the new therapist don’t work out. What got me to give this place a 1 star throughout the years - is the current lack Of Empathy, no proper or timely Communication skills, Letting authorizations expire, no timely monitoring of annual reports needed for the insurance companies that Delays with starting services…. The restroom was unsanitary.
