I used my home warranty insurance to hire Kimbro appliances to look at an old dryer that was not heating up. Prior to their visit, I had already checked the vent and saw it was clear. The technicians arrived and checked out the unit. As they are leaving and while being recorded on my front door Ring camera, they stated to each other that the venting was releasing more hot air than what was being retained in the dryer.
I assumed after hearing this that they were going to make a repair or recommend a new dryer.
Surprisingly, I received a report from my home warranty that the technicians stated the dryer was working as designed.
I made them aware of the recording. I tried to follow up several times and even months later, Kimbro appliances has not submitted a repair summary form to the warranty company. The warranty company said I could not receive a 2nd opinion until they received the paperwork from Kimbro appliances. It has been 7 months since the repair job.
Do not work with these guys. They are unethical.
