Nice facilities, nice campsites separated by trees for privacy.
Very scenic right by a snowmelt creek running through a gorge.
Because of the gorge and the mountains the weather can be a bit unpredictable, and cooler and windier than nearby Winthrop. Stake your tent and bring extra blankets!

If there’s a competition for which campground has the cleanest restrooms, this place wins. Hands down. Nice access to the creek as well.

Decent camp area. The spots have a barricade to prevent trailers from parking near the fire. I hadn’t seen this before.
The creek is close by, maybe a 3-4 minute walk. It is small but can be heard while your in tent.
Bathrooms are a pit style. Fresh water at taps around the grounds. No camp host was at our spot, don’t forget to pay😉
