—-BY RESERVATION ONLY!!—- This place is absolutely amazing!!! So many great photo opportunities along side the background for a beautiful large wedding! Only important note for the public that wasn’t posted correctly when I visited, THIS PARK IS BY RESERVATION ONLY (even tho it reads “open” here!!!). It is NOT a public park grounds outside of that, but instead a very PRIVATE residence!! There are not many signs that state that, I personally missed it by mistake. Outside of this, I highly recommend going here for wedding parties- you won’t be disappointed! Blessings to all!
I got married here in Oct 2015 and absolutely loved everything about this venue. I fell in love with it after visiting over 10 different barn venues in the southern California area. The Ranch is stunning and makes you feel like you are miles away from anyone else, yet you are less than 5 min away from downtown SLO, which made it easy for my guests and transportation. The ranch is family owned, and is constantly getting upgrades and new decor/items for you to use.
I loved the fact that there are no boundaries with other vendors you can bring in, however I got great recommendations for vendors in the area that were very familiar with the barn. The vendors I was recommended were amazing! I also loved how anything goes here... Whatever ideas you have for your wedding you can do as long as you can convince them!
Gabriel and his family are amazing, they have 7 people there on the day of to help everything go smoothly. I was planning from afar and Gabriel was so helpful answering all my questions and concerns and staying patient while I made all my changes! I did not have a planner, but it is definitely a venue where one would help. It is not an all inclusive venue, literally just the space but it is 100% worth it!
Words can't describe how much I loved getting married here, the barn and setting are stunning and truly made my wedding vision come to life. Guests are still raving to me about how beautiful and unique the setting was! I would recommend anyone to get married here!
Gabriel and the whole team at La Cuesta Ranch could not have been a better fit for our wedding day. Not only is the venue beautiful, these folks really know how to put on an incredible event! Gabriel was so helpful leading up to the event, allowing us to visit the ranch multiple times to check out decorations and ask questions. He truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was absolutely perfect. When one of our bartenders called out sick, he personally got behind the bar to make sure no one had to wait for a drink.
And anyone who has gotten married at La Cuesta Ranch will tell you that that the off road adventure up to the top of the hill for sunset photos is an absolute highlight of the wedding day.
We could not recommend La Cuesta Ranch enough for anyone planning to get married in the area.
