I have been coming to La Vie en for 5 years now and decided to take my business elsewhere to a much better place. All my favorite people seem to leave. I went there recently and booked for Linda. I wasn't told she was not available and unfortunately had to see Julie who is the one tech I try to avoid due to many bad experiences. Staff have become rude and dismissive over time. It doesn't surprise me that all the good techs have left. Today with no other choice I had to see Julie. I found her to be rude and pulls and tugs at your hands. Never lets you finish a sentence when you try and explain what you want and what she isn't doing right. Gets very defensive very quickly. Today she cut the end of my nail when I clearly said to be careful and I started to bleed. no apologies just defensive behavior. Nails always come out as slightly crooked. and not the shape that you ask for. Today was no acception. Crooked and uneven. Dont dare question them though. No attention to detail when they charge as much as they do. Do not recommend. Mai used to be the one to be the problem solver but she has now become part of the problem of being dismissive. Many other inexpensive, courteous places to take your business which is what I have done.

Pointer finger is stupid crooked and underneath the acrylics is a mess of excess glue and nail shavings that’s been hardened from the light. The gal who did acrylics was rushing and did it while I sat in the foot spa because they were closing soon and wanted to leave at the same time with everyone else. I arrived an hour before closing. Because she did it while my feet were being done, I had to reach my hand over and that’s why it’s crooked. I regret tipping…

If I could rate them 1 star I would . I came in to get an acrylic full set . Ray was the technician . He put acrylic all over any skin , covered my cuticles with acrylic . Did such a horrible job another tech had to come and attempt to remove what he did . She was not able to get it all removed and now look at what they made me leave their salon with . Please like don’t make the same mistake I did . Horrible horrible horrible horrible .
