Pretty little lake. My grandson and I caught lots of too small bluegills but had a good time. The road in is dirt washboard, and too many other users drove way too fast

the camp host was fine. you should not cut wood from a campground. the people at the site next to mine shot a rattle snake between upr tents and if you leave your food out a bear will come by. if i get messed up by a bear because of your opsitional defiant disorder or general inability to follow directions. it will not be pretty. it is a beautful place. if you are going to be upset by these things feel free to move on!

Worst camping experience Ive ever had. Camp "Host" was the most unwelcoming person I've ever met. From the moment we arrived she treated us as if we were trespassing punks kids there to party and trash the place and break all the rules. It's clear that she wants the place to herself and for family only. Will never return. No cutting wood allowed, no music allowed even quietly from a cell phone during the day (the host threatened to call the sherriff because she could hear the music playing from a phone (she was in our campsite being nosey at the time so she was right next to the music, you couldn't hear the music more then 10 feet away from the phone and it was noon, not midnight) no gathering wood allowed, no dog barking allowed,ever) She literally told us we can't have anything on the picnic table, yeah the one in our paid site. She said no chainsaw, but apparently they rule doesn't apply to her and her family (they cut all their wood with chainsaws), we had to go to town and pay for pre cut wood since we couldn't "harvest or collect wood at the campground" I know all the rules of camping, wildlife, fire safety, pack in pack out, etc. She intruded in our paid camping site multiple times, for many hours, talking down to us and basically letting us know we aren't welcome. As with all my trips to the wilderness, we left the place cleaner then when we arrived. She should not be a host anywhere. I have much more to say but am ready to forget this experience. I don't usually leave reviews, but this lady was a huge bummer.
