Nice enough bar inside, pretty standard small mountain town watering hole. I was told I had to walk next door to order dinner - where I was told they were closed (this is 7 pm on a Saturday) and was treated like an idiot because I didn't know the nearest restaurant was 25 miles away. Went back to the bar to close my tab, where during my 30 minute wait for my card the bartender served 5 other customers and took 3 different food orders next door. Not a great Memorial Day weekend. I have no idea why we were treated like this other than that we were dressed differently than the locals. If you're not from here, don't eat or drink here since they clearly don't want us.

Wonderful! Great experience! Restaurants include a fine dining restaurant, open Friday & Saturday 5-8, excellent food, live music, inside or outdoor seating around a fireplace and awesome views of the lake. Short order restaurant is open every day & serves breakfast, lunch, dinner. Menu has good variety & includes vegetarian options, adult beverages. Garden burger was best I’ve had. Enjoyed veggie omelette. Food brought to your table. Staff and manager George are friendly & go out of their way for you. Can also rent canoes, kayaks, small row/motor boats at reasonable prices — canoe 1/2 day $40.00
