So I originally gave this place 5 stars a few years ago because it was all-around amazing from all the years I've been coming here for my exams and purchases. It had a great team of optometrists and opticians that made this location perfect and far superior to any other lenscrafters branch, in my opinion.
I want to keep the 5-star review because the opticians that are still here are still amazingly knowledgeable and helpful. Reuben was awesome!
However, my recent disappointment seems to come from more on the management side in that there are no more optometrists at this location, hence no more eye exams, which comes as a major disappointment. The previous optometrists I've been seeing at this branch were phenomenal, especially Serine Mkrtchyan! I feel like lenscrafters really dropped the ball on letting an amazing team go like that. The team went above and beyond and made everything enjoyable and easy, from the exams to shopping for frames.
So begrudgingly, I went to the location upstairs in the mall, and they couldn't even find my previous prescription info even though they're both lenscrafters? I'm not sure how that works when I've been to other branches and they were able to pull up my prescription history from other locations as they should all be on a connected network. On top of that I'm not completely happy with my new prescription from the upstairs location and have to take time out to get that corrected which is something I've never had to do here. It felt like the optometrist upstairs wasn't interested in paying attention when I told her my current prescription is -2.75 when she was unable to find my prescription history and gave me a new prescription of -2.00 with different contacts than before so the new prescription doesn't give me nearly as clear vision as I had previously.
Needless to say, it seems I'll have to look elsewhere for my eye exams moving forward, which is a shame because this location made the whole process less of a chore and more fun over the years. Sadly, it's the end of an era.
