If no stars were an option I would select 0 stars for this place. You should avoid using this company at all costs. They do not give real response times. They will show you an excellent wait time (usually 15-20 minute response time at 1st, then will change it to an hour to hour and a half response time!)
I was at grocery store when I closed trunk with my keys inside of trunk. This was middle of summer probably at least 105° outside
I called AAA and said someone will be here within 20 minutes. I thought this is great, it won't be long. (This was at 10:45am) They should have responded to my car by 11:05am. At 11:10am they responded by text they were experiencing a delay and technician response time changed to 1:05 pm! I called AAA explained the issue and was told by AAA that they would contact Liberty. At 12:50 received another text stating the technician will arrive by 1:45pm. It has now been over 2 hours and now they are telling me another hour! When they finally do show up the guy looked like he had just rolled out of bed and was dirty looking. He went 1st to the trunk and worked on it at least 15 minutes before he would listen to me and just use driver's side door! It was so unbelievably hot outside I thought I was going to faint! Finally got door opened and trunk opened at 2:37 pm! Almost 4 hours since my initial call! I filed complaint with AAA and as compensation gave me an extra year of AAA Roadside Assistance for free. I'm sorry but a year for free was not acceptable compensation. Liberty never even acknowledged my complaint! They will be out of business soon if they keep this up!!
UPDATE After writing my review 5 MONTHS AGO the response they gave me is the same response they have given every bad review on here! My review has not and will not change by their generic apology! Read the other reviews!
After waiting for 4hrs, these guys came out and save me. Towed me from Riverside to Lynwood. Thanks. Shout out to Jeffrey, cool and respectful tow guy. Greatly appreciated man.
I wish there was an option for negative stars. I would give this place -5. Go to anywhere but them. Avoid Peter at all costs. Told me he was on the way and never showed up. Stopped returning my calls and text messages had me and my family waiting telling us he was on his way. When I spoke to him he was more concerned with the workers at Liberty towing not wanting to work and saying they would rather go out drinking than work. Who tells a customer that. Then he felt the need as he was bashing his co-workers to also inform me he is a dad of 4 kids and was going on how his company does not take things serious. Mind you I am stranded waiting for a tow this information should have never been shared with me. Then after never showing up and never informing me he was not arriving peter who is the tow truck guy text messaged me back in the middle of the night at 1am telling me he is just a worker he dont run the business. 1:00 AM in the morning. Mind you he was supposed to have arrived arpund 7:00pm the night before oh and also he let me know he would rather pick me up the next day in the morning. Mind you I was broken down on the side of the road and if I waited for the driver peter I would have waited overnight. I know this is all over the place but I am just extremely disappointed in this place.
