I am certain that you won't find another hospital in this country employing more ill mannered nurses than Lincoln County Hospital. Whether you're the patient or a loved one of the patient don't expect much from this hospital staff (especially the nurses and especially if you're a loved one). The only thing I can figure is that these nurses absolutely hate their jobs. How else could they collectively share the same bad attitudes and manners? I had to actually ask myself if I was the one out of line by anticipating some sort of friendly, or at least polite customer service. I don't think I'm out of line, they are just that horrible. I can only imagine what it would be like to deal with some sort of tragedy at this hospital, yikes! My grandpa has been stuck at this hospital for several months now. It has been nothing but problems since the day he arrived and the hospital failed to notify me (his POA on file at the hospital with my contact info) that he had been admitted after a stroke. I found out he was there 6 days later after going to the sheriff's station because I couldn't find him. They treat me like I have no rights as his power of attorney. Its like pulling teeth to get any kind of update regarding his condition. The entire hospital staff has been so horrible to interact with it's becoming difficult to want to go visit, even though I'd like to be there regularly. They're that bad. A little bit of advice.... If it's not life or death, drive a little further to the city. You will be much better off.
