The store employees here mistreat minorities. The employee at customer service dropped my bleached and kicked it, then she took my cart away after I purchased my items to lie and say my pickup items were in another cart. She also checked my cart like 10 times and ID me for my credit card. I watched her take my pick up items off a nearby shelf that she lied about to say was in a cart. She refused to give me my cart because she was acting like I was going to steal, which was ridiculous and poor manors and behavior. That was completely humiliating and defamation of my character, however I continued to remain calm because it was her that acted out of character, and I did not want to be a fool with her. How would she feel if this was her being mistreated like this? It saddens me that their employees could do such harm to their customers but do not want to take accountability for their wrongful doings. They don’t think about their actions logically, they just misjudge you by the way you look and sadly this starts with management because they allow the poor misbehavior of their employees. I just want to bring awareness to other customers who may shop here and experience the same mistreatment.
I’m really sad that racism still exist and they make such false pretenses of minorities in this store, not even realizing they are creating a crime with their illegal behaviors. I was mistreated as a MVP Lowes reward member and credit card holder and I should have not been mistreated nor misjudged because of the color of my skin, and their false imagination of who I am, or anyone else who has experienced this behavior with their employees.
I called to speak with the store manager Lora about the mistreatment shortly after my shopping experience to talk about the issue I experienced as a customer in their store and she seemed very unbothered. This situation needs to be resolved because I have strong beliefs this is repetitive behavior and acts of their employees that is continuously dismissed and lacking accountability. The Lowes employees at this location are completely immature, unprofessional and disrespectful to innocent reward members, and will not treat you as a value customer based on the way you look if they do not like it.
Wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it. Right is right even if only 1 person is doing it. Treat people how you want to be treated.
Worse customer service I have ever had. If I could give a negative number I would. Will never shop at Lowe’s again and will be sure to tell everyone I know how horrible Lowe’s is. We bought a dishwasher and paid for installation. Within 20 minutes of installer leaving dishwasher leaking. Installer came back & said we need a new dishwasher. He was going to let store know. All of a sudden my husband got call from GE staying they would be out in 2 days to diagnose problems. I called the store and talked with associate who said that’s how it works. Lowe’s isn’t responsible for anything after install. I said that installer said we needed new one and associate said that’s up to GE. I asked to speak with supervisor who was busy but associate would give my information to him. About 2 hours later I got call back from say guy and asked what he could do to make it right? Stated my wishes and asked again why being told GE is coming instead of new dishwasher ordered like told. Associate said he couldn’t do what I had asked for refund that he needed to clear it with supervisor. He said he would tell Zeph and then I could speak with him. I got transferred and definitely Zeph was not told prior to transfer the problem. After telling him the whole story Zeph said that Derek who I was talking to was incorrect about what he told me. After speaking with Zeph we agreed to Lowe’s picking up dishwasher (we had to uninstall which is completely unnecessary and they should of done it) & once it was back at store he would refund and re-order new dishwasher and send email to us when this was completed. 2 days later and multiple phone calls to the store and trying to reach Zeph we finally went to store for a full refund and cancel our order. There the floor supervisor Cody told us we could get full refund and walked us to the front. Well no one there could figure out how to refund our install. At one point told we had to contact install company for refund. Multiple calls to Cody and he finally came back to register to “help” get our refund. Finally after 30 minutes we were refunded. No apology from any supervisor and Jackie who was store manager was there too. Very unpleasant experience and the worst customer service ever. Very poor communication from everyone.
