Come for the views, leave for the poor service. I had the same experience with the host as others seem to have had. Ignored me when I arrived, so I stood there awkwardly staring at the wine list for a good five minutes while he finished up his story with the other two guests, who were sitting at the bar. When I asked him for his personal recommendation between two wines, he shrugged and kind of dismissed my comment. The vibe was so snobby. I’ve been to a lot of wineries which a much snobbier aesthetic than this one, but been treated a lot more kindly. Won’t be going back.

I will not return. The owner was rude and grouchy. He quickly listed 7 wines available for tasting. I’m used to 4-5 for a tasting so I asked if I select 4 from the wines he mentioned. He snapped at me and said that he would choose the wine because he’s not going open whatever I want. I tried to explain but he ignored me. He gave our first tasting without telling us what we were tasting - I asked and he seemed annoyed. I gave it 2 stars because the wine was good and the location beautiful. In the end, there are many better wineries to visit with gracious hosts.

Surprised to see such high reviews for this spot. In an industry based around service, this has hands down been one of my worst experiences. I brought my Grandmother and Aunt here to enjoy some views and make a memorable afternoon together (we were surprised you couldn't see the valley actually, but the setting is pretty). The owner didn't acknowledge us when we arrived. Seemed annoyed we were even there. We were friendly but he wanted nothing to do with that, nor in telling us anything about the wine we were having. "This is the red blend." My 86 year old sweetheart of a Grandma even tried to pay him a compliment about the music selection and he walked away.. pretty unbelievable. I understand people having off days, but after talking to others in the valley, this seems to be a common trend. I guess I'm just the first to voice the disappointment. 2 stars because the hummingbirds were entertaining.
