The campgrounds are well maintained. Each campsite has vegetation to provide a sense of privacy. The day use area is pleasant and borders the water. Camping rates are reasonable. Dog friendly mostly.
My boyfriend and I spent one night here. We didn't have a reservation but we were able to find a site, not busy at all. The only trouble was, given that it is off season, the park rangers office wasn't open until 2pm so we had to wait for this to open to pay. We didn't have cash or cheque and so waited until the office opened to pay for the campsite with credit card. Also, the showers last 3 minutes with a token. It takes about a minute for the water to warm up so it's more like a 2 minute shower.
