I order from this place so frequently, I wonder if the staff worry about me when I go more than a week without ordering. 😄 My go to orders are the tomato soup, the French dip, grilled skirt steak, heirloom tomatoes with burrata, and the three egg breakfast. Also, the cookies are fantastic. I'm addicted to the Royal cookie, but the Lemon Ricotta is a close second.

I went in yesterday for lunch and got clam chowder, the girls at the counter were fine not the best customer service but fine. When the soup came it wasn’t soup consistency it was more like thick oatmeal. It was also lukewarm In temperature. I asked our waiter if he would mind heating it up, he then said “we don’t have a microwave” (odd, but understandable I guess I can’t argue with what they do or don’t have but what restaurant doesn’t have a microwave?) Then he proceeded to say “I can bring you some hot water?” I was a bit shocked- as if I should water down and ruin the soup with water to make it hotter? I just was not impressed. The soup was good besides that situation. But 8$ for a cup of soup and a 18% tip for it to be cold is just not something I will be coming back to do anytime soon.

This Cafe tucked away inside Nordstroms is a great place to get away from crowds. It's popular, but it's just off the beaten path to have shorter lines and quiet atmosphere. Excellent food. I had the Santa Fe panini, and my wife and kids had the Turkey Club. Pasta, soups, and salads are also available. Booths available.
