Very disappointed with this store. Today I tried to return a Peloton yoga mat I purchases 2 days ago because of the strong odor which made my entire room smell like chemical. Right from the start the lady I talked to insisted that it cannot be returned because it was already used and brought a sanitizing wipes to the counter saying that I has too much dog hair and need to take it and wipe it then bring it back to get refund. Can’t believe an actual Marshall employee said that to their customer.
I told her that it was easy for it to attract dog hairs on them due to the material. I wasn’t aware of the smell until I brought it home and unwrap because it was in clear plastic wrapping so how was any of that my fault deciding to return it? She didn’t even ask if there was anything wrong with item until I refused to take it back. The whole experience was so absurd to the point it was funny. I never experienced anything like this at a store before.
I ended up getting store credit after like 15 meaningless minutes. I hope the first thing they ask customers was if anything is wrong with the item when they return because you might discover something was actually wrong with the item. 😂
