This McDonald’s had all the fancy technology bells and whistles--with a self-serve kiosk on which to order foods and drinks, which is why I took pictures. However, what made the visit awesome in this new-to-me McDonald's location was how friendly and genuine the staff were in the short time I was there.
Honestly, all I went in to do was use the bathroom and grab a quick breakfast before getting back on the road. I wasn't expecting or seeking much. Nonetheless, I was highly impressed with how clean the bathroom and whole restaurant were.
What really matters and sticks out in my memory, though, was how nicely the employees greeted me, a total stranger, as well as how they interacted with regulars in the location. Those factors left a lasting impression. For instance, I smiled when I observed how one employee greeted an older gentleman in front of me in line. She was quick and competent but also took a moment to inquire about his newest grandbaby.
Despite the technology, which I can take or leave, use or not--I would not hesitate to visit this particular McDonald’s location because of the inviting, warm hometown vibe that the employees created and that I had the pleasure to observe. Kudos to the employees there for being so awesomely genuine and kind! My order was quickly filled, hot, and correct, too!
