I have been a patient for at least 5 years for Dr. Black. I got a recall reminder in the mail. I called to schedule since I have prescriptions that last for 1 year. When I called I was greeted tersely on the phone, and when i explained the issue of medication i was blind transferred to Dr. Black's nurse before I could even schedule an appointment. I got Dr. Black's nurse's voicemail and the voicemail instructed me that all refill requests had to be done through the patient portal. I sent a refill request through the patient portal, but I figure the refill request will probably go out incorrect since the computer system doesn't allow for any flexibility and will probably show incorrect information to the nurse and the doctor. Eve since this clinic has become a division of Memorial Physicians the service has been declining steadily. When I looked up the phone number to call memorial Physicians to talk to a customer advocate they sent me to their billing department and the gal on the other end of the phone wanted to be helpful, but she wasn't equipped to be helpful.

Thank you Memorial Physicians for providing great medical care for your patients. In the past couple of weeks I have seen several Memorial providers and have been impressed with the procedures in place to help ensure the safety of patients and personnel. We were greeted at the door with thermometers to make sure we didn't have an elevated temp and to make sure we were correctly masked.
The only suggestion I have for addition is to have the front desk people wipe down the counters and the pen & sign-in key pad between patients. Most do..but a few don't. Thank you for caring!
