I was in a hurry this morning trying to find a place that could quickly press my boyfriends new work shirt (still in plastic with pins attached).š I called 2 other places first & they could not, so when I called Mercury Cleaners, the female ended up working it out so she could get my shirt in & out in less than 30min & it was only $6 (which she only accepts šµCASHšµ). So not only am I in a huge hurry still needing to get 2 Elk Grove, Back to Richard's, then Davis, & then Woodland. (By certain times), but I'm also .75 short so she said pay her next time. And the shirt was pressed perfectly!!! Hands down, Best Dry Cleaners by far!!!š Thank you!!šÆ

The women here are lovely and hard workers. I recently moved to the neighborhood after living in Manhattan for 8 years, and these cleaners are just as good as my cleaners back in NYC. After trying out "Golden Gate Cleaners" one block over, I got fed up with the owner constantly yelling at me and saying he couldn't clean certain items because he didn't want to spend the time cleaning them (they were two blankets that had pills all over them and needed to be dry cleaned and de-pilled). I went to Mercury Cleaners and they actually greeted me when I walked in, and have been very nice to me and my puppy. They've never turned down anything I've asked of them, and are up front about timing and pricing. I recently asked them to do an alteration on an outfit that I needed for a wedding, and they did it for me overnight, with no extra charge.

There is now a New Owner, one star as he has ruined 4 items I took in to be Dry Cleaned, 2 vintage wool blankets and two wool beanies. They came back to me completely felted and shrunk. When I pointed out that they were ruined he refused to reimburse me for the $$ I paid him, and has refused to reimburse me for the one item I still have the receipt for, telling me to take it up with his cleaner.
Check your stuff before you pay Paul.
He has no idea what he's doing.
I have been a customer of Helen's for over a decade, bringing her vintage and delicate items that have been well cared for, including the blankets and hats that Paul ruined. Don't waste your time here. He's not worth trusting.
