This is my local Nordstrom so I've got a lot of fond memories coming here as a kid. It's got a vintage brick exterior, which is kind of a cool contrast in comparison to all the other newer Nordstroms. It's pretty tiny, so it has a small selection and it can sometimes be hard to find someone to help you in the upper floors but for the most part it's a Nordstrom - meaning that they can order anything for you and the service is dependable. I come here when I need to do a return but if I want to shop I'll just head downtown since the selection here is so limited.

I always enjoy going to the Nordstrom's cologne area in the men's department and look forward to checking out all of the new seasonal scents that have been released and getting samples. However I was extremely disappointed to see that they had removed their self serve sample bottles and only have a limited selection available upon asking. Fortunately the clerk was readily helpful, even if he was self-admittedly under-informed about the specific scents upon questioning. I hate blind buying cologne and like to see how it wears on me for a couple of days before I commit to an entire bottle of something new. I have no problem asking for a sample or two of something, I just prefer the self-serve area! Would have given five stars if the clerk had at least paralleled my knowledge of the available scents, but I'll give a four for enthusiasm and graciousness 😁

I'll be honest, I don't really shop at Nordstrom. The prices are a little out of my graduate-student range. But I do like the styles they offer and if I made more money, maybe I would buy some outfits. However, my son LOVES to walk around the store. The store is always clean and organized with creative flair. He is fascinated by their displays and especially loves the fish tank on the third floor next to the children's shoe section. The retail staff have always been exceptionally friendly and generous over the years, especially to my son.
