This was our first trip here. Nice lake, outhouse bathroom and water spigots, there are no RV hookups but there is a dump site.

Wow. I've never been to a campground that felt so uncared for. There are posted rules about being quiet from 10pm-8am but park rangers seemed not to care about enforcing them. Three camps, one on each side of us, were playing extremely loud music throughout the day and night, yelling until 2 or 3am. I totally understand wanting to play some music and have fun but the noise level was so bad we couldn't sleep most of the night.

The park rangers don't answer the phone after quiet hours so there is no enforcement, no way to stop the noise. I've seen a review here stating that rangers would ticket for breaking rules, that was very much not my experience.

Furthermore the campsite was littered with garbage. Our actual campsite as well as roads, grasses, and the lake shore, all strewn with garbage. Two outhouses were out of toilet paper and all of them were disgusting with the cleaning logs showing they hadn't been cleaned in about a week.

The lake has some great fishing and boating but it's not worth coming out because the campground is so uncared for.

Spot 13 awesome experience. Tons of fun. Super hot but you have a lake right there that's the perfect temperature to go for a swim, go fishing or even hop on a boat and a ride. They have vault toilets they get pretty hot during the day. We had a picnic table, grill, fire pit with a grill and a canopy for the picnic table.

This was our firsts camping trip to Oak Knoll. It was a nice campground, some garbage left from the people before but overall very nice. The bathrooms are disgusting… but we did learn there are showers and bathrooms in some locations. The Rangers were super nice and they came by to see if we had any issues with noise. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back! Be warned though the bill frogs are annoying 😆 Oh and the water was lovely!!!
