Incident occurred 12/18. I believe they are contracted through progressive or something? The tow truck driver picked up my car after an accident (occurred on a Saturday night - around 6 pm?) and apparently just left my car in an empty parking lot next to the mechanic. They even left it open with the key inside. It was sitting in this empty parking lot for a good 3-4 days. Thank goodness no one broke into it. With what I understood, the mechanic has a protocol for after hours drop off, that apparently everyone that does business with them should know. In my head, I thought this was being taken care of since the agent told me that the claim was being processed but when I asked for an update on the car she just sent me directly to the mechanic. I called them and they said they never received no car and had no idea what I was talking about. I had to frantically call my insurance agent, mechanic and tow truck to locate the car. After a long day of searching they finally found it. Thankfully someone from the mechanic took their time to do walk through of their surroundings and found my car abandoned. I politely asked for a call from the manager to get this explained and how this could happen. Everyone involved basically just kept putting the blame on each other - not professional at all. To this day, 2/16, I am still waiting for a call back from the manager. I don’t want anything - I just wanted an explanation. Which I believe will not happened since they just brushed me off. Worst experience ever - like who just abandons a car?
