Gorgeous trails with plenty of options toward skill level and accessibility. Dog friendly, streams, flora, fauna, small wildlife and birds. A favorite for sure.

This park is located behind Newhart Middle School. I pick my daughter up here everyday, along with other parents. I've rarely noticed the park empty. Since there is a Senior Center in one side and the school on the other, I've noticed a lot of foot traffic. Parents who show up early take there small children to the playground, seniors meet at the park, birthday parties and, dog walkers. It's a open area with trails and a playground along with other amenities. The restrooms always seem to be clean along with the surrounding area. I've actually walked the path around the baseball/softball field and it, the walk path, leads to a couple of hiking trails. The only busy time is after school, between 2:45-3:30pm Monday-Friday. Other then that, the park looks like the perfect place to bring the family for a picnic or just to play catch on a nice big open grassy area. There is a vending machine next to the restrooms but, it only takes debit/credit cards. There are a few picnic tables along with BBQ's. So if you are looking for something to do and you just want to get outdoors, go check this park out. The dirt paths run along the creek bed and allow for bikes, as long as you give pedestrian the right of way.

The trails are paved, the playgrounds are clean, fun, and have restrooms nearby... this is a family/pet friendly place to play and hike! There's fun artwork, obelisks, and even a shrub maze to walk through!
