Gentlemen that works there is absolutley rude and very unprofessional. If your not happy with your job quit. Can't believe he works in a historic site that is toured daily with children.

I'm writing this to counter a recent 1-star review, as my experience there was completely different. But that was in 2007! The blacksmith might have been taciturn, but that doesn't mean indifferent. If it was the same guy; I've attached his photo.
