Patagonia

I fell and tore a gaping hole in a beloved (but relatively new) sun hoody.

They sent it off for repair and wow, it took a month but the quality of the repair was amazing.. and totally free despite it being the result of my clumsiness.

Patagonia and this store always impress me. Good staff and though they are a 'big chain' I feel they fit well into the Kitsilano landscape if not being a major pillar.

I've had numerous, excellent experiences in this store. Either when buying new items, or getting free repairs on my old clothing, the staff have made it smooth and pleasant.

Pretty much the standard patagonia store experience. Lots of local community events as well. Clear stations for Worn Wear donations and repair, and seasonal sale sections.

Selection was ok, prices seem to be the same as online.
