Communication is terrible, I made an appointment over the phone and I was told that the price was going to be much lower than it ended up being by the end of the service. I was never reminded of the price when entering the door, and I never expected the price to be so different from what I was estimated over the phone. Overall just seems dishonest or negligent. Definitely one of the more expensive oil changes for no reason, I would recommend going to Auto Stop just down the road on Stockton, they are at least up front with how much their oil change is AND its much more affordable.

Service was good. I was provided with details what issues my car has, to fix them on my next visit. I will be returning. Although they were short staff, things still worked out.

I'm going to give this review four stars due to the fact that I could make an appointment online. However, the prices online did not reflect what they charge me in store. On top of that, Pep Boys says that they price match but when I asked in the service department about price matching they told me they do not do that. Even after going to the Pepboys website and showing them that the site says they price match they told me that they've worked there for a certain number of years and they've never price match service. And if there was anything I needed to have adjusted I need to take it up with the Pep Boys manager. The price for brakes online was $229. The site never spoke of the additional charge for labor, although I know car repairs come with labor I feel as if it should have been mentioned that labor is separate. $229 turned into $410 after using my $50 for back brakes only.
