Had a bad day - pressed the garage door "close" button and went into the house. About 3 steps in, heard two loud BANGs. I had a crashed garage door wedged at an angle in the door frame, trapping my car inside. I looked for a place with same-day service and found Precision. I called and they said they would send someone the next day. Not great, but OK. A very polite and bright young man named Antonio came and assessed the door. He pointed out all the damaged / marginal areas - his analysis sounded spot-on to me. But the price he quoted took my breath away: $2,400 - talk about sticker shock! But I felt like I had no choice so I said yes. Antonio replaced all the damaged components and got the door working in a couple of hours - he did a really nice job. Looking at the bill later, I was shocked at how expensive the parts were: An 8' section of track was nearly $300, and the new rollers were almost $34 each! Talk about markup! VISIT SUMMARY: YES they have good people, do great work and use quality components. But you are kind of stuck and you WILL get a stout bill.

Scheduling the appointment was easy. The technician arrived on time. Very amicable and examined the Garage door and mechanisms. I wanted to see if the problem i was having with the Garage door, not closing and reversing automatically, could be fixed. Unfortunately the door is still acting up. I will have to call them back.

Ahmed was very thorough with his safety inspection. He explained everything that I needed to have done to repair my garage door. He took the time to clean everything. He explained how to maintain my garage door to keep it working well.
