my garage door suddenly stopped working even though the motor was still running. i first contacted a different local garage door installer who arranged a visit. the technician, Leo, gave me a call 30 minutes before he was due to arrive and suggested a new motor without even seeing the problem. he seemed certain it was the motor because of his years of experience. i decided to cancel the appointment. i then reached out to Everett at another garage door installation service. Everett was able to visit the same day, examined the door and identified that the gear was broken. he also inspected the other garage door and pointed out that it was in a similar state of wear. Everett ordered the necessary parts, informed me it would take a few days for them to arrive, and once they did, he arrived promptly to replace the gears. he also conducted a full tune-up on both doors and even assisted me in programming MyQ and Homelink. he completed the job within an hour and now the doors operate smoothly. Everett was honest, fair, respectful of my time, and professional. we decided to replace the sticker near our openers that had the previous installer's information with Everett's business card. i know who i'll be calling for any future garage door needs.
